Log in to Side Door, and make sure you have currently selected the Artist Profile you would like to search for matches for (click on your profile icon at the top right of the screen to swap profiles).

Click “Find a Venue” in the menu bar at the top of the screen to open the search page.

On the search page, type in the name of the city, town, or community you are looking to book a show in.

Venue profiles will display on the search page according to your search criteria - these are Hosts that match your preferences, and may be good candidates to host you! To see more about that Venue, click on their profile.

When you’ve decided how you feel about a Venue, click the ‘Request to match’ or ‘Maybe later’ button to approve or dismiss the Venue, respectively. If there are more Venue profiles to display, the previous profile will disappear after an option has been chosen.

After a Venue profile has been requested, they will be notified of the match request and will receive a notification. You don’t need to do anything else for now. If that Venue profile accepts your request, you have made a match! You will be sent a notification, and will then be able to begin the booking process.

If you’d like to adjust your search criteria to expand/limit your results, the search radius to the right hand of the search bar adjusts the geographic proximity on your initial location entry. And of course, you can also enter a new location to search as well!
