You know your kids/pets best and how to create a situation that won’t be stressful. Sometimes that means reserving a certain spot for children/pets or arranging alternative care ahead of time. Sometimes, having the children or pets present for soundcheck can help practice for the show later on. Or, consider inviting a watchful friend and keeping a room in your space quiet and separated to bring kids/pets to in case the event overwhelms them. As long as you keep your own comfort, as well as the comfort of your Performers and audience in mind, you’re bound to make the right call - oh, and don’t forget to warn everyone involved about any potential allergens!
