You must be signed into your Side Door account. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. A drop down menu will appear. Click on “Billing & Payments”. 



A text box will appear. Click on the blue “Add Account” button to create a new Stripe Connect direct deposit account.



The next page will require a country select*, billing information, personal information such as date of birth and Social Insurance/Social Security Number^, and direct deposit information. Complete all the information in the form and click “Save & Send to Stripe”. You will receive a confirmation email when the Stripe account is set-up. We never share or store your payment info. All payments and related information is securely managed through Stripe. 


If you are filling out billing information on behalf of a company, use the personal information of an individual that is an authorized legal representative of the organization. 



Once your Stripe Connect account has been created, assign any desired profiles to it under ‘Account Assignment’ in the “Billing & Payments” screen. Simply select the Stripe Account from the dropdown menu next to the Artist/Venue profile you are looking to assign it to. Every Artist/Venue profile must be connected to a Stripe Account in order to be paid out for shows, but any Stripe Account can be used. 



To edit the billing information of a pre-existing Stripe Connect account, it can be edited under “Billing & Payment Info” in the “Billing & Payments” screen. Click on the ‘Edit’ button to the right of the desired account to adjust its details. To create an additional Stripe Connect account instead of adjusting an account’s details, press ‘+ Add Account’.

^Please note - SIN/SSN entry is optional for new accounts. However, Stripe requires a SIN/SSN for account verification for accounts ‘that earn significant revenue’ (approx. $1000). If you are not comfortable entering your SIN/SSN, that is fine, but if your account crosses the threshold all payouts will be withheld until a SIN/SSN is entered, and refunded if not entered after 21 days.
